This second Newcastle United Vintage post takes in another collection of retro player and team images from St James’ Park, this time from the early years of the 1960s. After the heights of their 1950s Wembley Cup exploits, this next decade would be a lot lower key for Newcastle.

The club was relegated from Division One in 1961 under manager Charlie Mitten and would spend the next four seasons mired in the second tier.
